For a group of nine 51¶¯Âþ students, spring break was more than just a trip to the beach. The students, along with 51¶¯Âþ’s Coordinator of Civic Engagement and Service Learning Maria Fanning, spent part of their break volunteering at a Washington D.C. homeless shelter and soup kitchen.
