The Colleges Building Community program brings Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GCSOM) together with 51���� College, Lackawanna College and University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USciences) to design “living case studies” that place students at the center of data-driven service projects.

This year, the entire 51���� community will come together to celebrate the 150th anniversary of this special place. It will be a year of joyous events as we gather at different times and in different places to celebrate what 51���� means to all of us, both as a community and individually. For those reasons and many others, the passing of time during the next 365 days will be truly special for each and every Keystonian.

The 51���� College Board of Trustees has announced that Tracy L. Brundage, Ph.D. will become the eleventh president of 51���� College, effective July 1, 2018.

51���� College will observe summer office hours from Monday, May 14, 2018, through Friday, August 10, 2018. College operating hours on Monday, May 14, 2018, are 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Official summer office hours begin Tuesday, May 15 and are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Friday office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

51���� College has received a $917,815 state grant to construct an addition to an existing series of hiking and biking trails which connect the campus to neighboring communities.
